Navarro W. Gray, Attorney at Law is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law located in Long Island, New York where he received his Juris Doctorate degree with a concentration in intellectual property. While attending Hofstra, he held the position of President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and was the recipient of the Public Justice Foundation Award. Mr. Gray has both litigation and transactional law experience. As a litigator he has advocated on behalf of numerous clients in Federal, State and Municipal courts.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Gray graduated from Hampton University cum laude & with honors with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. At Hampton Navarro also received the Honors Counsel Award for Outstanding Achievements in Marketing and is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society and the Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society. He is also a proud member of the distinguished Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, INC.
Navarro was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 2008 and began his legal career as a Law Clerk in the Bergen County Superior Court for the Honorable Edward V. Track, J.S.C. (retired). Thereafter, he was employed as an associate at several private practice law firms. In 2013, Mr. Gray was appointed by the Mayor and City Council as the first African American Municipal Court Public Defender for the City of Hackensack. His legacy continued by also becoming the first African American Municipal Public Defender for the Bergen County Central Municipal Court and Borough of Fair Lawn Municipal Court.
In 2014, Navarro founded The Gray Law Firm, LLC, located in Hackensack, New Jersey. While pioneering his law firm he represented Fetty Wap in obtaining his major record deal with 300 Entertainment which jumped started his entertainment law career. Since then Mr. Gray has represented hundreds of clients and was instrumental in closing their recording deals, publishing deals, movie deals and producer agreements.
